ROW 1 AND ALL WS ROWS: Work as est to end.

ROW 2: (RS) Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 8 sts in rib as est, w&t.

ROW 4: Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 12 sts in rib as est, w&t.

ROW 6: Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 16 sts in rib as est, w&t.

ROW 8: Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 20 sts in rib as est, w&t.

ROW 10: Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 16 sts in rib as est, w&t.

ROW 12: Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 12 sts in rib as est, w&t.

ROW 14: Sl 1 pwise wyb, work 8 sts in rib as est, w&t.

Cont working even as est until collar meas 3 (33⁄4, 33⁄4, 33⁄4)" (7.5 [9.5, 9.5, 9.5] cm) from shoulder seam, or until it reaches the center of the back neck. Return held left collar sts onto empty needle so tip is pointing in the same direction as the right collar needle. Holding pieces with RS’s together, join sts using the three-needle BO (see Techniques). Sew edge of collar along back neck. Weave in ends.
